-
Where do Bridal Trials/ Makeup appointments take place? They take place in my suite at Honey Salon on the second floor, room 2B. Address: 93 Clinton St., Delaware City, 19701
-
When should I book my Bridal Trial?Bridal trials are best scheduled 1-3 months before your wedding. For brides booking more than a year in advance, I recommend doing two trials—one now to get a feel for your desired look and another closer to the wedding. This ensures your look aligns with any changes that may occur over time, such as shifts in skin tone, hair color, skin texture, and even your personal style preferences.
-
How should I prep for my bridal trial?Bridal Trials are one of my favorite parts about the process! Although trials are not required, I do recommend to all of my brides that you do schedule one. This is a great chance for us to not only meet prior to your wedding, but it gives us the opportunity to find exactly how you'd like to look come wedding day. We do full makeup application, discuss your makeup goals, and go over any details for that day. PRO TIPS: - BRING INSPO. Photos or videos. Recommend finding photos of my work that you love and be able to pin point what it is about each photo that you like! Outside of my work I recommend looking on instagram or TikTok. I recommend steering clear of Pinterest for 98% of the photos are highly edited and photoshopped. -Wear a white top (helps visualize) -Come with your hair done in a similar style to how it will be done on your wedding day. Event better if you can schedule your hair trial the same day as your makeup trial! -Come with a clean face
-
What should I bring to my trial? For your trial, bring 2-3 inspiration photos or videos of makeup looks you love. Wear a top with an open neckline (white is ideal!) and come with a clean face. This allows us to get a true sense of how your makeup will look on your skin.

Anything over that I bring an assistant. How much time we have to get your and your party ready plays a factor as well! I allot 45 minutes per client and 1 hr.-1.5 for the bride.
-
How long is a regular appointment (in salon)?1 hour
-
How long are bridal trials? An hour and a half
-
Why is medium/ full coverage recommended? On your wedding day, your makeup needs to last from morning to night, through photos, emotions, and dancing. Medium coverage ensures it stays intact longer and withstands tears, sweat, and hugs. It also looks better in photos, as it’s less likely to fade or get washed out by lighting. The slightly stronger application ensures your features are defined and your look stays fresh, so you can enjoy your big day without worrying about touch-ups.
-
How long does the makeup day on the day of the wedding?Bridal makeup takes about 60-90 minutes, while bridal party members usually require about 45 mins-1 hour each.
-
What if I need touch-ups during the wedding? Can I hire you to stay for extended hours?I offer touch-up services as an add-on, should you need someone available to help throughout the day. It is an additional $85 per hour from the finish time of our original schedule time for makeup- to whenever you ask me to stay until. If you need me to travel to a second location from where glam was, there is an additional travel fee as well.
-
How can I prep my skin for the big day?As an esthetician, I recommend starting a consistent skincare routine well before your wedding day! Regular facials tailored to your skin, like hydrating or exfoliating treatments such as dermaplaning, can help create smooth, glowing skin. Focus on hydration, gentle cleansing, and nourishing your skin with high-quality products. I offer special bridal skincare packages designed to prep your skin for your big day! -
"I typically hate wearing makeup and I’m concerned getting it done professionally will feel too heavy. Can you do a "barely there" makeup look for my wedding day? Is it a good idea to get my makeup done?"While I understand wanting a natural look, for weddings I generally recommend a bit more coverage for wedding day makeup to ensure it lasts throughout the day and photographs beautifully. My style is more enhanced, so if you're looking for something ultra-minimal, I may not be the best fit. If you're comfortable doing your own makeup, there’s no pressure to have it done professionally. However, if you want to try something new, a trial is a great way to explore a style that suits you!
-
Can I do a trial for my bridesmaids or other family members?Yes! While I primarily focus on the bride’s makeup during the trial, I'm happy to set up trials for other family members, if interested. Appointments can be scheduled separately based on availability.
-
What if I have sensitive skin or allergiesIf you or anyone in your party has sensitive skin or a specific allergy to any makeup ingredients, please inform me in advance. While my team and I exclusively use high-quality brands, we are not experts in the exact ingredients of every product in our kits. We work with a variety of brands, each with its own ingredient list, and want to ensure we can accommodate any specific needs. Your safety and comfort are our top priorities, and we're happy to make any necessary adjustments to best suit your party!
-
Do you travel to my venue or location for the wedding day?Yes! I offer on-location services to parties of 4 or more. I can come to your venue, home, or hotel for your wedding day makeup. Travel fees may apply based on location, so please let me know your venue details when booking.
-
What if I want to change my makeup look after the trial? It’s perfectly normal to want to adjust your makeup look after the trial. If you decide to make changes, I’m happy to accommodate those requests and ensure you love your final look for the big day!

What is brow lamination?Brow Lamination is designed to straighten the brow hairs, resulting in instantly full, lifted & fluffy brows. The process essentially involves straightening brow hairs. Lamination can be paired with a Brow Tint for bold & enhanced results.
-
How does lamination work?Step 1: When the Brow Perming Solution is applied, the chemical process breaks down the bonds within each hair, allowing them to morph & move into a new shape. Step 2: When the Brow Fixing Solution is applied, the hair bond remodels into the new shape. Step 3: The Brow Keratin is applied at the end of the treatment to restore moisture back into the brows & skin NOTE: The new brow design and shape takes up to 48 hours for the bonds to lock into place & cure, which is why it is important to follow the correct aftercare for 48 hours post-treatment.
-
How long does lamination last?Lamination lasts between 4-6 weeks if you are following the correct aftercare. For maintenance, each morning your Laminated brows will require styling by brushing and setting in place.
-
What is the before & aftercare for lamination? What should and should not be done 24-48 hours post-treatment for the longevity of results: - Keep brows completely dry for 24 hours. - Use oil provided by Gabby to keep the brows nourished & hydrated. Recommended use is every 3-5 days applied at night. - Do not apply make-up or undertake further eye treatments for at least 24 hours after your treatment. - Avoid swimming/sauna/working out for 24-48 hours. Any excess moisture after this time can cause a slight curl/frizz to the brow hair. - Do not allow prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or heat. - Do not apply Retin-A, AHA or exfoliate around the brow area for 72 hours either side of the treatment. - No self-tanning products should be used on the face for one week prior and 48 hours after treatment. NOTE: If any stinging or swelling occurs, apply a cold compress to soothe and seek medical advice.
-
Can I do lamination and tint in the same service?Yes!
-
Is lamination safe for pregnant or breastfeeding women?Lamination is not safe for pregnant and breastfeeding women. This is due to the risk of chemicals sinking into the skin and potentially entering the blood stream. If you would still like to receive Lamination treatments despite this information, please consult with your doctor first!
-
What is eyebrow tint?Eyebrow tinting is the process of applying semi-permanent dye to enhance, shape & define your brows. It also stain the skin as well as the brow hairs. It gives the appearance of bold & full brows.
-
How long does it last?Regular tint can last 3-7 days on the skin & 3-4 weeks on the brow hairs. Hybrid tint can last up to 10 days on the skin and 4-6 weeks on the brow hair. Please follow all instructions and aftercare correctly in order to achieve this longevity. ** I use Hybrid tint on everyone UNLESS you specifically specify that you want regular tint OR have an allergy to Henna.
-
What is the before & aftercare of tint? What should and should not be done 24-48 hours post-treatment for the longevity of results: Do not rub the treated area. Avoid heat treatments for at least 24 hours. Do not apply brow makeup for at least 24 hours post treatment. Avoid sunbathing and sun exposure for 24 hours to lessen the chance of the Henna fading. Avoid swimming/saunas/sweating for at least 24 hours post treatment. Do not exfoliate the brow area as this will cause the Henna to fade quicker. Exposure to sun & UV lights for long periods of time will cause the henna to fade quicker. Apply Brow Code Brow Growth Oil daily to keep brows nourished & healthy. Do not apply Retin-A, AHA or exfoliate around the brow area for 72 hours either side of the treatment. NOTE: If any stinging or swelling occurs, apply a cold compress to soothe and seek medical advice.

What is a Lash Lift?Lash lifts are a lifting technique designed to give you longer-looking lashes without the need for lash extensions or mascara! It will look as if you used a really good eyelash curler, only this lift lasts for 6 to 8 weeks! I apply a black lash tint which really makes your lashes look more prominent and gives the appearance of wearing mascara without the clumsiness! To top off the treatment I treat the lashes with a keratin treatment to nourish them and give a soft, shining effect. It really is an easy way to instantly brighten and open up the eye area!
-
How do I need to prep for my appointment? Please arrive to your appointment completely free of eye makeup! .
-
What are the post-treatment instructions?Post treatment is very simple! Don't get your lashes wet or apply anything at all to them for 24 hours. Steer clear of waterproof mascara the entire life of your Lift. Brush out the lashes daily. Applying castro oil or a lash serum is not mandatory but it is recommended. It helps the longevity of the lift as well as helps nourish your lashes after the chemical process of a lift.
-
How long does it last?Depending on the length and quality of your natural lashes, the lift can last for 6 to 8 weeks.
-
Is there any maintenance between lifts? You don't have to do anything special with your lashes in between lifts other than giving them a good brush out daily and stay away from waterproof mascara.
-
Can I still wear mascara?Yes! Mascara is safe to still use as long as it is not waterproof. But do keep in mind that mascara is heavy on our lashes so loading a ton on daily weighs down the lashes and could cause your lift to not last its full 6-8 weeks it has the potential to.
-
Why can't I wear waterproof mascara?Harsh chemicals are used in waterproof formulas in order to make them, well.... waterproof. This chemical composition is extremely drying to your lashes. Not to mention all the effort and extra tugging and pulling on the lashes to remove the mascara. This results in weakened lashes that are prone to breakage, and over shedding.
-
Why do I have to stop wearing waterproof mascara 2 days prior to my appointment?Pretty much for all the same reasons stated above. If you are a regular waterproof mascara wearer, then your lashes are already most likely dehydrated and weakened. Giving your lashes a few days break from waterproof mascara (or any at all) a few days before your appointment will increase the overall lift. Failing to do this will result in a poor Lift and possible further damage.
-
Will a lash lift damage my lashes? No, as long as you follow all the advice on Pre prep and Post care. The lifting solutions are only applied to the new growth area of the lashes, down towards the base and up a bit. Never to the ends of the lashes! Note: lash lifts are a much safer alternative to lash exentions and ESPECIALLY curling your lashes with a lash curler. This only breaks and damages your lashes.
-
Is it painful?Not at all!
-
I use Latisse. Can I still get a lash lift?Yes! Some of the most dramatic results I've achieved have been from those using Latisse® because their lashes are already so long.
-
I recently has Lasik surgery. Is this procedure safe to do?Yes, but you need to wait at least 6 months. As always, when in doubt, please consult with your physician.
